Mercado Goods Showcase: A Labor of Love, A World of Its Own

Working on Mercado Goods has always been a labor of love. From day one, I've poured my heart into making sure that what we create isn't just clothing. it’s a story, a statement, a badge of honor. Every design and campaign is rooted in meaning. Through this journey my biggest hope has been that when you wear Mercado Goods, you feel like you're wearing something bigger than fashion. You’re wearing a movement.

We've come a long way from our first release. That journey has been filled with lessons, growth, and unforgettable moments. I created our first Mercado Goods showcase because I believed the brand needed a platform that went beyond racks and runways. Something immersive, something that could be felt! Like how Disney has Disney World and Universal has Universal studios. I wanted people to be able to step into the 'Mercado Goods' and really feel what we're about. I mean shi- we spent so much time building these stories. Why let them be seen as “just clothes”?

Our first event was small. Just close friends and family. But it was powerful. That initial love and support set the foundation for what would come next. Each event grew, not just in size but in energy. Friends brought their friends. Those friends became collaborators. And somewhere along the way, a real community formed. A tight-knit collective of individuals who share our drive to express, create, and connect.

Now, as we prepare for our next chapter, we’ll be tying a bow on our time here in Chicago with one final showcase. Our last Mercado Goods experience of the year. It’s not the end. It’s the launchpad.

After this, we’re setting our sights on new cities. Austin and New York are next. But the bigger mission? Global impact. Spreading our culture and community across the world.

So this June 13th, I invite you to be a part of Mercado Goods history and come experience our world one last time this year. Step into the story. Leave with more than just clothing.

Save the date.
I hope to see you there.
Cheers,
Gerardo | Mercado Goods
