Singing Through the Struggles: The Story Behind "Canta y no Llores"
After the success of our first collection, "Déjalos Que Hablen," transitioning to the next phase has been a significant challenge for me. The "Déjalos Que Hablen" collection was a labor of love, infused with a message that resonated deeply with me. Moving on from something that was so incredibly fun and meaningful felt almost impossible. But as they say, all good things must come to an end.
Our journey took a new turn at our first-ever art installation, where we unveiled our latest collection, "Canta y no Llores." To my surprise and delight, the collection was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Even without shooting any content or launching any campaigns, we nearly sold out. True to my word of maintaining exclusivity, we only produced a limited number of pieces. With just eight shirts remaining, I faced a dilemma: should I create more inventory and dive into new campaigns, or should I stick to my principle of scarcity?
After much deliberation, I decided to honor the original concept. Only eight shirts from the "Canta y no Llores" collection will be available for purchase. This decision was not easy, especially since finding a creative rhythm has been challenging lately. Various changes in my life have impacted how I work and create, making it difficult to develop new campaigns for the brand.
Despite these struggles, the message of this collection could not have come at a more appropriate time. "Canta y no Llores," which translates to "Sing and Don't Cry," originates from the beloved mariachi song "Cielito Lindo." This sentiment serves as a powerful reminder that even in our toughest battles, we must strive to remain strong, find the positives, and make light of the situation whenever possible.
This collection’s message has reignited my passion and provided me with a fresh perspective. In times when nothing seems to be going right, "Canta y no Llores" encourages us to find joy amidst the chaos. It’s a reminder to sing through our struggles, to embrace resilience, and to approach challenges with a hopeful heart.
As we move forward with this new collection, I invite you to join us in celebrating the spirit of "Canta y no Llores." Let’s embrace the beauty of perseverance and the power of positivity, no matter what life throws our way.
P.S. If you a real one and you made it this far. You are the first to know that our next collection will be available September 1st. See you soon!
